Language Modeling in Action - November 20th, 1-3

$50.00

Language modeling (a.k.a. Aided Language Input / Aided Language Stimulation) is one of the foundational techniques for supporting AAC communicators. It can be used by anyone: parents, paraeducators, classroom teachers, specialists, etc. It’s not a complicated tool to learn how to use but sometimes it can feel overwhelming in the moment if you’re trying to start while simultaneously parenting or teaching. That’s why we’ve created this workshop. Come get an introduction to what Aided Language Input is, how to do and have some time to practice with other adults before you try incorporating it into your child or student’s day. The majority of the time will be spent practicing using Aided Language Input in fun activities to get you feeling comfortable and confident.

This workshop is offered once a month, in person, in Montpelier. You can sign up for as many months as you want to - just one, all of them - what ever works for you.
